Oil Painting for Adults (Age: 17+) Beginning, returning or experienced students will paint from a still life set-up or from a photo reference of their choice. Our discussion of oil painting principles will continue. The class will view samples of professional oil paintings and discuss how the artist used shapes, values, colors and edges to depict three dimensional images. We will provide photo references and a still-life for you to paint from or you can bring in your own photos from which to paint. We will guide you to complete a beautiful painting! We will also do some work with pastels, charcoal, and graphite pencil.
Note: Class size is limited to 10 students.

Music Together (Infant - 5 yrs with parent) Taught by Harmonious Horizons Twelve children (infants - 5 year olds) and their parents or caregivers meet for 45 minutes each week and are immersed in a complete musical experience from beginning to end. It's a community of children and their families and teachers sharing songs, instrument play, rhythm chants, and movement activities in a relaxed, playful, non-performance-oriented setting. Music is learned through developmentally appropriate activities that support and respect the unique learning styles of very young children. Each child can participate at their own level and are able to explore in a variety of ways with the example of the adults' participation in and joy of making music. These classroom activities serve as a springboard for further music-making at home.
